Plan And Prepare Your Biography In Nine Steps

Suitable for all levels of writers including beginners

People’s lives offer a wealth of material and inspiration for writers. And, unlike a novel, the plot and characters are ready made for you. All you have to do is bring them alive on the page.

But for your biography to be successful, and before any writing starts, you need to lay firm foundations on which to build the story. That is where this course comes in.

The Course

This four-module course takes you through nine steps to help you to prepare to write your biography. You start with what you already know and then build on that by researching your subject. Once you have gathered all your information you will be shown how to structure your book and finally, how to pull it all together and start writing.

Exercises And Assignments

Your course includes three tutor-marked assignments to receive back comment. Your tutor – Sara Mace – will give you feedback on your work and pointers on how to improve it, if improvement is necessary.

Course Outcomes

By the end of your course, you will have a good understanding of how to research, collate and structure your biography and its context. This will give you a strong foundation to move forward to finish your book and prepare it for publication.

Included With Your Course

Your course also includes a free supplement where you learn how to lay out your typescript. Presenting your work professionally is essential should you wish to send it off for publication.

For the duration of your course you will have access to The Writers Bureau's Writers' Community and free Zoom sessions where you can meet other writers and ask questions.

Trial Period And Time Limit
