Mike Hobbs

Mike is a highly experienced commercial writer with considerable experience of preparing bids and tenders on behalf of a wide range of client organisation. He's had success with European, Lottery funding, Government and Arts Council England plus many more. With a lifelong passion for writing, his first significant breakthrough was to be shortlisted for the Penguin Books Write-Now programme in 2020. This gave him the confidence to pursue an award under the Developing Your Creative Practice programme which gave him a year off in 2021 to write.

By taking part in this workshop you will:

  • have time to ask questions as there are only ten participants per group

  • learn how to prepare your portfolio of work
