For some authors, it’s enough to get their book out into the world. They might have written it for family and friends to read and be satisfied with that. Great. But what if you want to make some money from your book. How do you do that?
The days when you could just put your book on Amazon and sit back, waiting for the sales to pour in have been and gone. So you need to treat it as a business.
During the session, we’ll look at the role of advertising and how it can help to increase your earnings. Facebook and Amazon ads can be very successful in reaching potential readers.
We’ll also consider how slashing your prices can seem counterproductive, but may actually make you more money.
Building momentum and writing more books, as well as making your books accessible to new readers and attending book events can boost your sales.
These points will all be covered over the course of the workshop.
This workshop is run by Budding Writers in partnership with The Writers Bureau.
